Timothy D. Norton, II joined CGA Law Firm in 2009 as a member of the health law, labor and employment law, litigation and business and corporate law practice groups. He concentrates his legal practice in the areas of health care and employment law. Tim represents physician practice groups in regards to termination of patients and other abandonment issues. Additionally, Tim counsels physicians on compliance issues in regards to Stark and Anti-Kickback.
Tim is also dedicated to counseling employers on matters of discrimination, wrongful termination, wage and hour and unemployment compensation claims. He routinely advises employer on employee discipline and termination, enforcement and implementation of employment policies, work place investigations, and restrictive covenants.
A graduate from George Mason University, Tim earned his B.S. degree in public administration. In 2009, he completed his J.D. from Widner University School of Law, cum laude. Presently, Tim is enrolled and attending Loyola University Chicago School of Law to earn his LL.M. in health law. While attending law school, Tim was recognized as the Most Promising Civil Litigator and was the recipient of the Outstanding Service Award by Widener University School of Law. The Center for Forensic Economic Studies presented Tim with the Excellence in Litigation Award for 2009.
Tim is a member of the York County Bar Association and is active in the Young Lawyer Division. He is a member of the Herbert B. Cohen American Inns of Court. Tim serves his community as a member of the Board of Directors of Child Care Consultants, Inc. and the York County Food Bank, Inc.
At GMU, he was Division I Athlete on the Men’s Swimming and Diving Team. He competed in the 2004 United States Open Swimming Championship were he placed 3rd in the 400 individual medley. In his spare time, Tim enjoys running, swimming and spending time with his wife, daughter and son.

Successfully defended numerous clients in discrimination charges and complaints filed at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission.
